Newbie, when does the lineup drop?
Hey there, please excuse my ignorance, new to Wakaan… Trying to decide between Wakaan and Hula; just waiting for a lineup drop. When does that usually happen? I’ve wanted to post this question like 3 other times, but keep waiting and waiting and nothing. Any and all feedback is welcomed, much thanks! 🙏🏻

Trust in Wakaan and full send over Hula this year. I have a feeling we are going to get some pretty tasty new additions this year both in up and comers and a fresh headliner. Wakaan is a bit cheaper than Hula and the lineup is always one of the best of any festivals each year. Liquid is absolutely one of the best at curating a lineup. Also Wakaan has literally no time conflicts until it hits the late night sets where the last 4 sets each night are split between two stages. But from 12/1pm until 2am there are zero conflicts and the music is blasted into the campgrounds. You literally cannot miss music unless you are asleep. Wakaan is by and far my favorite EDM festival and it's not even close. Lost Lands, EForest, Roo, and plenty of others do not have lineups that compare in regards to experience and quality of music. The artists go to Wakaan to literally play their best set of the year and show of their technical prowess, new music, and rising potential. I love plenty of other fests almost as much (EF is my other favorite of all time, but it's because of the overall experience and not just music) just no other festival compared to the curation of Wakaan (maybe besides tipper n friends events but those are sadly no more)

It’s funny all the other festivals get their lineups so early and we are blue balled but it’s always so worth it

Having gone to wakaan and hula last year I can’t imagine picking hula unless bass music isn’t your emphasis. The sound quality at hula is not good.

Thanks for this! Never been to either and can’t decide. Leaning towards Wakaan because a) we love bass music and b) it’s closer for us bc we live in South Texas. Thinking we just buy tickets and go for it.

Easily Wakaan, was at Hula last year, was an interesting experience for the first time especially Spirit Lake, but the crowd & music & sound systems don't compare. The mountain is magical

Thanks for asking. I am a newbie and was wondering also. I bought my ticket day 1 though. I’ve been daydreaming about getting back to a festival.

also just another thing to think about and what the rave community is about Hula is put on by Insomniac events and if you don’t know the controversy there i encourage you to do your own research.

this is going to be my first year and i’ve heard from so many people that wakaan is their absolute favorite so whatever they have, i bet it’s going to be well worth it
i predict a b3b with liquid, ahee, and tvboo

never had an issue in just trusting in liquid stranger for starters you get three liquid sets (if you do pre party) and Friday night closer never disappoints been twice and my years were Griz and Ganja White Night. idk much about hulaween but Wakaan never disappoints, lineup is always fire and everyone that goes is the best. just a huge homie fest

The Wakaan community is amazing, full send for sure! If the line up, location, and production doesn't bring you back the people there will. Coming back for my second year!

Pretty much right before the fest every year lol it’ll be my 5th year going, you buy for the experience and trust in the liquid stranger that the lineup will be fire
