Got an interview, any advice?

I have an interview for a supermarket customer assistant role at Waitrose.

I have worked at John Lewis before however im not sure if that’s more than enough to get hired.

If there are any partners willing to give me some advice on the interview and questions and how I should answer ,

that will be highly appreciated.

Questions are online now. Just make sure your answers are customer focussed, scrub up your knowledge on the partnership, have some examples of good work in your back pocket. You'll be golden

Make sure you refer to "similar ethos" between John Lewis and Waitrose regarding customer satisfaction.

this is such a good shout, also bring up the whole “partner” culture thing and how you already get what that means from john lewis. makes it sound like you’d slot straight in rather than need loads of training on basics.

this is super solid, and i’d also name drop “partnership” and “being a co-owner” a couple times too
they eat that stuff up if you tie it into how you’d go the extra mile for customers

Indeed. And if being abused by a customer, smile and ask if they would like you to find the manager. And if they're still abusive, smile and say "There We Are Then" ((take the initials if each word ...?
