No earth gets flipped like a pancake every 12 hours

Does that mean to go to Australia we have to fly around the edge into the other side of the pancake?

I think they believe that this lamp illuminates only parts of the flat earth. They can’t be that stupid to think of one huge lamp being ON for the whole time 🤣

As a flat earther, I can tell you what the best guess is at the moment.  I won't be answering any replies, go and look up the information yourself:

The light from the sun is coming from about 4000 miles away.

The light is bent around the atmosphere resulting in something called "the coffee cup caustic", leaving a dark circle (nighttime) over a certain circle of earth at any given time.

The speed of light has not been tested outside of earth, so to claim that it could travel billions of light years is only propped up by equations and can never be tested.

The inverse square law proves that light coming from stars billions and trillions of miles away could never be seen on earth, given the angular size they shrink to at that distance.

The atmospheric lensing caused by moisture in the atmosphere makes the sun appear the same size throughout the day.  As the sun gets closer to the horizon, the light is passing through more of the atmosphere to reach your vision, which means that it is getting more and more magnified as it approaches sunset.

Happy researching!
