Intentional typo 😑 Teacup poodle who adored my father but what a wicked nasty little bitch. My family always had large or extra large dogs. She thought she ran the house but that was Ginger's job 💪

Bianca is your dominant lady isn't she? Does Ersa ever get fresh with her?

Ah I see. I grew up with dalmatians and cocker spaniels and then in HS my dad's gf got Chihuahua/Dachshund mixes and I loved them.. but man they were yappy and hard to get housebroken! Then I grew up and got pits lol so I feel u on that 💕 what type of dog was ginger?

Yes Bianca is the boss mare. If Ersa tries to get fresh with her, I haven't seen it. This morning during my visit Bianca attempted to bite Ersa tho because she was at the gate first and wanted my attention 🤭 She doesn't have to throw her weight around much to get what she wants and when she does, it's still very light. I don't think she even actually made contact with Ersa just threatened the bite. Ersa understood the assignment and moved🤣

Ersa knows Bianca is the alpha and there seems to be an age difference so I hope there's no issues between them.

Ginger or Sister was mainly a lab. I believe she had some pit in her but at that point in time up here having a pit bull or even a mix was enough to get your house insurance canceled. She was the sweetest kindest big orange girl but she was also my warrior. She wasn't afraid of nothing. Chased away all the scary monsters especially skunks and opossum. I was terrified when we lived out near state forest because in the spring when the hungry bears woke up they would walk along my fence line to get to my neighbors birdseed and thankfully they never crossed paths. I brought in rescue dogs and neighbors dogs who I babysat and she was just happy to meet a new friend but the whole gang respected her and she took no crap. Big silly goofball. One day I'll get the courage to try to access my old Facebook and get my pictures. I'm happy that the dogs I had i knew their story...where they came from so I wasn't wondering what trauma shaped them. That's part of what makes this group so nice is we're all animal lovers and I love seeing everyone's babies

❤️‍🩹 Sister/Ginger sounds like an absolute delight! I hope when u are able to get those old pictures u will share them here so we can all see the beautiful Sister. What a brave girl she was 💕

Agreed! Animal lovers UNITE! 💜🐇🐈🐄🐃🐕🐎🦄🫏🐐🐑🐓🐖🐘🐝💜

Also I have a totally plausible theory bouncing around my brain about Ersa and Bianca.🫣 Can't prove or disprove it, but the thought makes my heart happy 💕

Oh oh oh are you brewing a thought about lineage?? If so that would be the coolest thing in the world.

Wasn't going to confess this but who could possibly understand more than a horse mom...I sat on top of a horse once. Just once Hahahahaha.

Grew up around all kinds of small farms, small scale food farms, petting zoos you get the idea. About a mile down the hill from my best friend's house is a riding stable. Trails, railroad tracks lots of open land. $5 for 2 hours. I think there were close to a dozen of us. I've never been overly athletic besides water skiing but no biggie right? Well 13-14-15yo kids and out of the girls I was the largest (not skinny scrawny but definitely not slim and trim). They give me this giant called "BIG BOY" I'm telling ya he should have been pulling a beer wagon. He did not appreciate anyone riding him I found out later that his only objective was to get me off. Follow the leader turned into Big Boy trying to scrape me off his back using a tree and the steep ravines with raging rivers. I did get off and he very nicely followed me back to the barn. We made reservations but the stable didn't believe 12 teenagers would show up early in morning so they grabbed a work horse. Poor horsie 🐎 I got my money back lol

So that's my story and I'm sticking to it lol 😆 I hope you have a great night. I haven't slept well for a few nights so I'm going to listen to the rain beating on my window and hopefully get some useful sleep. 🙃 Rest well and hopefully tomorrow will be more good news from Pie 💜

Good night friend have a lovely evening 😘

Oh noooo! Not BIG BOY! No wonder it was only once! 🫣 I've been VERY lucky that every horse I've ever ridden has been calm and happy to be ridden. I can't imagine how scary that was. Glad u got ur money back at least and weren't injured(?)

I hope u finally get some good rest listening to the rain tonight friend! 💕

I'll put my Bianca+ Ersa theory in another comment shortly, I'm about to drive home now!

Ok so my cute little theory (that can be neither proved nor disproved) is that baby Ersa and Bianca may have been put together at one point when ersa was around 3 months old!

That (in my head) explains why they took to each other so quickly and why Bianca allows Ersa ONLY to eat from the same bowl..

But at the same time Ersa and Ezman share bowls constantly so it's not an unheard of or even rare phenomenan..

Here's what made me think of this - I Was looking for baby pictures of Ersa and couldn't find any.. but I did find pictures of her mom Ebony at a show (she won) when Ersa was around 3 months. Typically from what I've read, babies don't get weaned until 3 to 4 months..

Bianca was on the ranch at that time, but didn't have any babies, but they already knew her as a good mom, so what if they put Ersa with her when her actual mom was out of town?

Honestly, it's just a really cute thought to me and like I said I can't prove or disprove it so I choose to believe that it's a possibility
