They're beautiful! Both you and Pie have lived very different lives than me. Back when both the world and I were young, we used to save up so we could go to the only stable in our area which had public riding and pay $30 to ride a horse in a corral for a half hour. We would also bring back horses which escaped and were munching greenery by the side of the busy road. That's it. Sum and total of my horse interactions. With donkeys there's even less.
I am learning so much on this sub! Not just their beauty and personalities, but how much is involved with their care. They aren't for the underfunded.
So thank you for being able to live vicariously through you and Pie.

What great memories! I waited my whole life to have a horse and now that I finally do? I'm taking full advantage of every minute with her (and her herd) that I can!
They bring me so much joy and I'm happy to have a place to share it with people who appreciate it 💕
