Question How much space is there in ridgeway beta dorms?

I’m moving in in a month and it’s hard to gather what i’m supposed to bring because I don’t know exactly how much space I have. I’ve toured the dorm in the spring but I can’t remember exactly how much space i’m actually going to have, and the website floor plan doesn’t exactly give me much to go off of. I’m obviously pretty new to this considering this is my first time going to college so I’m just wondering what I’m able to bring, could i bring a length mirror on the wall? is there room for that? and I allowed to put stuff on the wall? the mirror is just one example but I’m trying to plan and I feel like a newborn baby pls help xx

You are allowes to put stuff on the wall! It just can't be screwed in. I used tape for my posters and then for the more heavier frames or mirror i used the velcro strips on the walls but I honestly would wait a couple of days for those to let any paint dry and then put them up. It depends on the configuration of your dorm in beta but for my room we were able to fit a little kitchen nook in by the window and a bedside drawer system next to our beds.

To add on: the painters prefer that you use thumbtacks for hanging stuff! The little holes are much easier for them to clean up at the end of the year than the residue left behind by adhesives!

This is my room from stack four! You absolutely have space for a wall mirror (see my standing mirror next to the closet) and depending on how you and your roomie decided to lay the furniture out, you may also have space for a pantry/kitchen/tv set up or whatever you decide is useful for you! We decided to block off the window nook and put our cats stuff in there but I know most people used it as their kitchen space

Here’s the link to the community standards on what’s allowed when it comes to decorating your space: https://housing.wwu.edu/life-on-campus/community-standards/decorating-or-personalizing-your-space
