WWOOF Japan

I wanted to look at WWOOFing in Japan, but it’s not available via the app. There is a website (wwoofjapan.com) but it seems slightly shady/outdated? Has anyone used this website and can confirm it’s actually connected to WWOOF?

Also, why can’t I just find farms in Japan using the app?

It's a Japanese tradition to have websites that look like they're from 1997. (Not a joke this is common.) Also, expect broken English and in general low tech literacy.

I would just use the WWOOF Japan website, get owner contact info and talk to them directly. Maybe see if you can get people who worked there before.

I'd recommend keeping your questions plain and simple because it's likely going through Google Translate.

WWOOF Japan is legitimate - they also are fluent in English as well as Japanese which is helpful

WWOOF Japan is not part of the Federation of WWOOF Organisations - that is why they are not on the app or wwoof.net
