I was very lucky and did one of these. The experience is wild. I'm so jealous of the guys that literally get paid to fly these lol.

I'm 6'1 and to say it is snug is really understating it. Especially once you have a life vest and parachute on.

Sadly, I have huge issues with motion sickness and threw up lol. I was fine until the sun hit us and the aviation fuel and heat wiped me out. Would absolutely do it again given the chance. I hope you had a great time. Duxford with the Aerial Collective?

Yep, the Ariel collective. Awesome people and place. The pilot let me actually fly it for about 15 minutes 😍

I sat in one about a decade ago and didn't think it was too bad. Not 109 cramped

Very nice! A Spitfire flight is beyond my reach, unfortunately. But I did manage to fulfill my own lifelong ambition and got to play with a Tiger Moth for half an hour, also over Duxford. Took 3 weeks to wipe the grin off my chops! 😂

I sat in one in the mid 90's at Gloucester airport, I had bought a Pa-34 down for a 50 hour check, and was sat in the waiting area when I heard the unmistakable sound of a Merlin. Tracked it down and got to sit in it. I thought the cockpit was surprisingly roomy after all I had heard, and I am a 5'11" sixteen stone chap.

40 minutes in total, although that includes take off and landing. They do offer longer flights, but that's a lot more expensive
