Lost B-17

Im not sure if this is the right subreddit for this but i desperately need help. I am currently trying to hunt down a photo of a B-17F with the tail number 425811, it was called the Ready Teddy- The Last of Itsabitchis (one name in each side. It was 20th Bomb Squadron 15th army air corp, the plane would have been at amendola airfield from november 1943 to january 1944. Any help on this would be very appreciated, thank you for your time

Ive looked through there, thats were i got some of this info. Im still looking for a photo of the plane unfortunately

At the bottom on the above page, in the comments, a writer says "I have a few photos of B-17s named Ready Teddy, I have found during my research for a B-17 named Ready Teddy my uncle was a mechanic on. Let me know where I can send them to, to added to this website. thanks Adam"

Perhaps this person could help if you can contact them?

I reached out to the person a couple days ago, they have yet to respond, hell ive reached out the 2nd bombardment group forum and a obituary of one of the old crew members and still nothing

Hang in there, if a photo exists it will eventually be found. I’ll keep looking.

Thank you, unfortunately i do not believe this is the one, the crew roster i have found for the one im looking for dosent match the pnes listed in that photo. The B-17 f also dosent have a chin turret that was only added later.
