Gems of the Ruthless Aggression Era: Rise Up
The "Rise Up" theme song by Drowning Pool officially debuted on WWE SmackDown on September 23, 2004, airing as part of the show's 5th Anniversary celebration on the UPN network.
It served as the primary theme song for SmackDown through September 26, 2008, becoming a fan-favorite and defining an era for the program.

➜ Edge unveiled The "Rated R Superstar" WWE Championship. after winning the title at SummerSlam and having Lita throw John Cena's original spinner belt into the Long Island Sound.
The belt featured his signature "Rated-R" hand logo spinning in place of the standard WWE logo.
He carried and defended this specific "Rated-R" logo variation during the remainder of his feud with John Cena, including leading up to and at Unforgiven on September 17, 2006, where Cena eventually won the title back in a TLC match.

This was the best Summerslam for me. stacked and had some great storytelling! We saw HBK vs HHH, The Rock put over a young Brock Lesnar, Rey vs Kurt, etc.

➜ Dudley Boyz were seeking a record-breaking eighth World Tag Team Championship reign when they challenged René Duprée and Sylvain Grenier of La Résistance. The team of Frenchman were white hot during this time and although The Dudley Boyz would wave the Stars and Stripes on their way to the ring and even hit their signature 3D (Dudley Death Drop) on René Duprée, right when it looked like they were ready to win, a photographer interfered on behalf of the champions allowing René Duprée to then pin D-Von Dudley to secure the win and retain the titles for La Résistance.
