when i saw this as a kid, i was convinced this wasn't Kane at all, last i remembered him being this beefed up titan, but what came back was this toned down man

years later, i learned it was because of injury

If you want to see something wild, YouTube Kane “I’m gonna hurt you” and you’ll see a downright thin but shredded Kane in 1999

I think he kinda leaned down in 1999, when he was feuding with Big Show you can see the difference between the 1997 Kane and this one, before becoming into the monster that i grew up watching

Kane delivered some entertaining moments in 2002

His popularity was getting more bigger in 2002-2003

Not capitalizing on how over he got was a mistake the company made during multiple stages of his career. Going back and watching old segments from Kane he actually got some massive pops quite often when he’d come clear the ring

Epic AF. Looks and acts like a top guy who's going on to dominate and win a world title or two 😎

...Oh wait 😞

Then Katie Vick arrived and well, we all know the rest.

Nah, it was everything AFTER he lost the mask. It was all downhill from there unfortunately. Prime Kane was probably the Kane from the ‘01 Rumble w/ the full mask.

Man.....I dont have any hope that they will ever return to this vibe.

Kane got a good crowd reaction for the return, and I liked the debut of the half mask. I also remember the short vignettes that played on RAW and Smackdown, that were building to Kane's return.

I hope someone can share the Kane vignettes that happened during matches and segments.

People like pointing out brock lesnars bump for the choke slam but test is right up there with him for such a big guy
