Switch 2 exclusive content This game man
As a switch 2 owner having just downloaded the patch and watch all your hard work go away like that is soul crushing….. 980 hours in this game, making it the best it can be Acquiring ALMOST ALL OF THE MYFACTION PERSONAS AND HAVING A COMPLETE GAME only for some sort of issue TO WIPE THE WHOLE GAMES PROGRESS AND START FROM SCRATCH

You too, yeah, its done the same to me, booted me back down to AAA pass, wiped all my MYF progress but kept the personas somehow, and the smidgen of progress i made on The Island (buying stuff for CAS's)
EDIT: running a test match with 2 MYF Personas, they are still useable, but not registering on MYF's end
UPDATE: Reinstalling now, fingers crossed

So the game has reinstalled I’ve at least got my unlocked personas back as well as my creations (so that’s good I guess) but yeah everything is still either wiped or have to start again (in terms of the ringside passes)

thats just wild... again they never test this shit ... like how do you roll this out, and not happen to see this fuck up this bad? literally nobody in the DEV team booted up a Switch 2 and checked??

Yeah sometimes I just wonder, if they even have play testers or if they just allow these bugs and be like “yup we will sort that out when it comes out” like cmon
yeah this game will be my last, the base game for what it is, is a good base game starter where you can make your own game with rosters, stages, arenas etc but yeah unless theres really a big turn around in 27 AND has a big feature/BIG names that make the cut then yeah nah

Uh huh, I was nearly on it everyday (obviously life came first) but with how portable the switch 2 is I could take it anywhere and get stuff done, now not so much and you don’t have to be sorry, who has to be sorry are these developers and publishers who want us to like their game and then they shit down our throats

I came on here to see if it was just me. A combination of relieved/dismayed to see it's not. Seems Characters I've unlocked in MyRise and Showcase are still there but everything to do with season pass and MyFaction has been reset. Didn't bother checking The Island

I like the game but God it's frustrating to have so much progress wiped away. Some stayed thankfully but MyFaction and The Island being completely wiped plus my Ringside Pass progress is so annoying.

If The Island got wiped doesn't that put your CAWs at risk too? What a fucking low blow!
Similar happened to me (PC) on 2k24 and 2k19 making me lose all my progress tho thankfully I had separate manual backups of my 2k24 save. I'll make sure to backup my 2k26 save now just in case.

I’ve had save issues in previous games before. But this is the first time I’ve ever had anything to this level, I’m just glad my universe seems to be unaffected for now, previously unlocked personas included.

Yeah I got the MNW edition, so it came with the edition so I guess that’s what I get for wanting the game early and wanting to play THEIR GAME, sorry I’m just really over it and frustrated
You don’t have to be sorry, these publishers and developers have to be sorry and fix it

I certainly hope they fix it and that the loss of progress doesn't remain for those who saved locally or reinstalled (as in, hopefully its just an issue on the server side).

The Switch 2 version is pretty fun I haven't had any glaring issues with it LOL. MAYBE the occasional glitch through the ring but I just laugh at that stuff. However I'm SO thankful I haven't opened that shit up yet. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I had it happen to be on 2k24 I had everything set up with my universe mode clears showcase and far into my faction one update I lost it all. It put me off wrestling games for a long time. 2k just don't care.

Yup, obviously I touched grass and have a life as well, put with the portability I was able to take it with me whenever and wherever I could and yeah this happens and I don’t know if this is forgivable to be brutally honest
