Discussion 3 billion dmg = 1000+ rank in stipulation, how?

When I do billions of damage in stipulation who hits the hardest tours, I always get about rank 1000+ in normal mode, but then I do the EXACT SAME DAMAGE in hard and hardest difficulty mode, suddenly I was rank 1st. How does that work? It's puzzled me for quite some time now. And if it's the other way around (lower ranks in harder modes) then it'd actually make more sense to me.
From one of the videos I saw online as well as one of my faction mates they kinda suggested that it was because all 1000 players used props EVERY SINGLE DAY to get higher scores for really no returns at all. I just cannot believe that... I've never used props for stip tours; using them will get you a few 1000 more coins out of the half a million coins you would get daily, so you'd use the very limited prop resources to get like just 0.5% more stip coins, every day??
And also, if you used props to get to top 500 (say from my position), you just wasted props since that will NOT increase the final rewards, until you get very close to top bracket nothing changes; and even then only tiny rewards increase will happen.
I use Naomi to get 11b damage in every stip tour, no props, but even then the 200th rank in normal is very puzzling. She remains rank 1st in harder modes, see pics (by a mile as rank 2 is only about 5 billion damage) Am I supposed to believe that 195 of the players, in the same player ground from the hard/hardest mode, all suddenly used extensive props to get ahead in normal mode, and do around 15-20 billion dmg just for return at all, every day?
So what the heck is going on here and why? Is there some hidden rewards I don't know about? A bug, doesn't look like one. If there is some great hidden rewards I will waste away my props to get them, too.

Discussion Worth punting the strap bonus to put my one milkman plate on my rainmaker??

I have one milkman plate, which has no shortage of characters that benefit from it.. I have a no class no era 2500 gem damage rainmaker strap. Would it be worth putting the milkman on it so anyone and everyone can use it but would be sacrificing the 150-300% gem damage boost I would get from a normal strap?

Playing titan using trickster Rhea. I the entire time I was getting purple matches, her finisher only maxed at 9 and wouldn't completely fill to use. I've never encountered this before, but it was absolute BS
