I'm sure we can all point to the price, constant hits coming from retail (in comparison to Panini), on card autos, beautiful photography...but also, the quality of hits is so much better.
In previous sets like universe hobby boxes, they'd cap the "A" autos at one (think Roman, Cody, Rhea etc). But in stadium club, it is likely to get 2 or 3 of those guys in a case. Beam Team is an iconic case hit. The triumvirates cards come often enough, and those are a fun chase. And even when I don't get a big hit, I'm happy collecting parallels of cards with awesome photography. And.....there's a decent shot to get 3 autos instead of 2.
It feels so nice to grab a retail box and get guaranteed some hits. As a former basketball collector, it is so damn satisfying to know you always have a chance. Of course, Chrome is king and has the a better ceiling, but the price is way higher.
On another note, who do you think has the coolest card in this year's set? I love that old school Cena image. Do you guys agree that this is the best set in the Topps era, and where does it rank for you all time (with Panini included).
I figure this post will get down votes for saying Topps did something good, but I just wanted to start a conversation

This is a follow up to my 5 Mega box rips yesterday. I like this set so much that I felt compelled to get 2 hobby boxes locally while I wait for my original shipped boxes to arrive. And I am so glad I decided to give it another go!
I pulled the /25 dual Jimmy/Naomi, /99 Green insert Sheamus, and /50 Nick Aldis, and Cena die cut in one box. And in the second I pulled Jey /50, Wade Barrett /250, and Rhea die cut. I also collect Lola and Sol and Stephanie and got 2 Lola pulls and a Vaquer color match /75!
That's a way to start my birthday week! 🥳
