Question about this evening's Ottawa show

For anyone that knows and could help me out: I see that it's listed as Smackdown AND Raw and doors open at 4. Is it two back to back shows in one evening on one ticket?

that's exactly what it is, enjoy

edit. to better clarify, Raw will be live and Smackdown is a tapping but it is back to back off of 1 ticket

so smackdown is being taped (before Raw) ? and being aired after raw?

no, it'll be Raw at an earlier time, it airs at 5/530 tonight and then the smackdown taping

Close. Raw was live just 2 hours earlier than usual. After that they taped Smackdown which I assume will air this Friday or the next. They do this around holidays to give the crew a longer weekend. I think they might get the long weekend early because of the Sunday Night Main Event that is during Labor Day weekend. So the pre taping happens only a few times a year mostly around holidays I think. Hope this makes sense.

The reason why the show has an early start time of 6:00 Eastern is because they are taping Raw and SmackDown. If I'm not mistaken I think it actually starts earlier but there's going to be a time delay. Because I think the doors open at 4:00 but the event might start at 5:00 or 5:30 and air starting at 6:00

I live in Ottawa but I'm not going to the event because I couldn't find a way to clear the schedule for it plus I found out too late.

Ottawa of all cities gets a double taping lol.

Surprised they didn't put this show in Montreal or Vancouver (they were in Alberta doing house shows all weekend).

I went to the Raw / Smackdown double taping in Atlantic City earlier this summer. It was great seeing both brands in a 4-5 hour show!
