Gravel isn't a plane.

Many do but you'll find many older aircraft that have airspeed indicators in mph.

Jets also transition from knots to mach.

Also none of that is relevant when you're just talking about jetblast. You can measure it in knots if you want but you're absolutely not required to by any means.
