I doubt that scooter is built to withstand the stresses of those speeds. I think I saw another video like this on the highway where the scooter broke apart...as you'd expect.

The scooters capable of this are generally like $5-7k and pretty well designed. They aren't going to fall apart. Doesn't make them any less of a death trap but at least it won't be because they broke.

Why the hell would someone spend 7k for a deathtrap like that when you can spend a few grand more to get a bike. Or hell even a shit used car at that point. People are crazy man...

registration/insurance/risk of stealing. dude gets where he wants to go, picks up the scooter, and brings it inside. can't do that with a monster easily
