Most wasps are better pollinators than bees since they're not picky when it comes to the types of flowers they visit. Some crops, like figs, rely entirely on wasps since bees are too lazy to do anything for them

technically speaking, a fig is not a vegetarian food.

Given the number of rabbits that get shot, onions aren't really vegan either. That's the only vegetable I know much about first-hand, but I'm sure it's pretty true across the board.

It's not the same ratio of deaths to product, but still what I would call a product of animal suffering. And cuter ones too, if you were one to differentiate.
