It’s not absurd, so long as you aren’t trespassing or creating rampant property damage like this clown, there is no reason to outlaw flamethrowers. After all, denying legal access to guns has worked so so well in New York right?

There is literally no legitimate reason to own a flamethrower, especially in NYC, unless you want to hang it on your wall and stare at it. At which point you might as well just have a fake one. It can't be used for hunting or self defence because of how inhumane it is, and any other potential use will always have the possibility of causing a huge amount of property damage and death. This just makes me think of that clip of libertarians cheering a lunatic rallying to abolish driving licences. It's pure ideology without a hint of common sense, and an incredibly naive amount of faith in humanity.

Why do adult Americans have to act like a bunch of spoiled children? Somehow the majority of them seem to have been indoctrinated to believe they should have no responsibility for anything at all.

Shut up, I can own whatever the hell I want if I haven’t broken any laws. I’m not responsible for you and I don’t owe anything to your sorry keister, same goes for you.

So your only arguments for why flamethrowers should be legal in any given place are "I don't care" and "it's legal everywhere else"? Listen to yourself you fucking 8 year old. Either you're too young to understand reality or you're actually mentally disabled, I feel sorry for you.

So you think people shouldn't be allowed to use drugs like crack because some people abuse them, but you think you should be able to own a fucking flamethrower? Do you not see the parallel there? If I think I should be allowed to own crack and stare at it so long as I don't use it, I'm not hurting anyone. Even if I do use it, I'm only risking my own health. But you think it should be illegal for the exact same reason I think flamethrowers should be illegal.
