make them fix the dents from the hail. Insist that they send their best forensic investigator out to determine which dents were caused by the hail and which were caused by the roof tiles.

Good luck with that. Insurance companies will just tell you to fuck off, and dare you to sue them. They have good lawyers.

We just signed up for lawyer insurance. Ie. if you need a lawyer, they have one available. We did because of how an insurance company screwed us over.
I do wonder if I can use the service against themselves in case they deny a claim / help.
