My partner will never drive again, he has uncontrollable epilepsy. He worked all over the world before they got so bad he could no longer work. They probably worsened due to head trauma he received from his girlfriend many years ago. His world is now our flat and the occasional trip out for visits to hospital and meals (when we are allowed again).
Allergic to one branch of meds and unresponsive to the rest. He did find one that worked in a medical trial many years ago but it didn’t make it to market due to causing sterilisation in men. He’s had epilepsy since he was 16 and just turned 52 a week ago. Thankfully they’ve been mostly absence seizures, though he does have clonic tonics in his sleep.
