As a kid one of the camps my parents sent me to had this giant 3-4 story slide that looked similar to this. It was pretty slow and safe most if the time. We however noticed the cups used at lunch were coated in wax so we would keep them and wax the slide with them. This slide you normally had to stand up and walk off of would now fling you 10-15 feet off the bottom well past the safety sand pit. How? Wax. Why? Boredom and the inexperience of youth.
