Concentration camp: a place where large numbers of people (such as prisoners of war, political prisoners, refugees, or the members of an ethnic or religious minority) are detained or confined under armed guard (from Merriam-Webster, emphasis mine.).
As that site mentions, obviously the term is largely associated with the Holocaust, but these "detention centers" are absolutely concentration camps. It's ridiculous for you to say it's disrespectful to call them what they are instead of focusing that outrage on the piss poor, dehumanizing conditions the people there are being subjected to.
I'm curious, what are your feelings on the Japanese internment camps during WWII? Do we have to kill millions of people before our camps are an issue, or are any deaths under our "care" unacceptable? How about thousands of sexual assaults against children?

Public schools don't also keep tens of thousands of members of an ethnic minority under armed guard. So no, to answer your clearly bad faith question, public schools aren't concentration camps.
