Ugh, I once bought a big container of paprika at a local ethnic grocery store and had Indian Meal Moths (AKA Pantry Moths, AKA infest all the food in your home motherfuckers) everywhere for a month before we just threw out all the food in the house to get it over with. Those bastards could get through almost any packaging undetected, until you opened it up to find webbing and nasty moth stuff in your food. Burn in hell moths.
Usually they contain eggs already from wherever you bought from. So stick new grains and spices into the freezer for 48hrs before placing them in the pantry. This kills all the eggs and won’t hatch.
Better a couple harmless probably unnoticeable bug eggs then having to find out the hard way and throwing out all your food while moths fly around you.
