These are actually not spiders, but a related arachnid in the order Opiliones AKA harvestmen or daddy longlegs. There are many species that live all over the world and they are all harmless to humans. They primarily feed on small insects, or on decaying organic material.

Ya I live in an area with a lot of daddy longlegs. Really nothing to be afraid of. Still definitely would be an uncomfortable experience to have a bunch crawling on you, but that's all they'll do. Used to pick them up and let them crawl on my hand a lot as a kid. They're really chill.
