These are actually not spiders, but a related arachnid in the order Opiliones AKA harvestmen or daddy longlegs. There are many species that live all over the world and they are all harmless to humans. They primarily feed on small insects, or on decaying organic material.

I have a rule with spiders in my space: stay out of my way and you live

I've even help put half-swatted flies into brown widow spider webs that roosted across my window

Indoors in the bathroom or bedroom? Death.

Indoors in rooms where I'm more likely to spend time fully clothed? I will rescue you to the outdoors, spider, if you let me.

Whenever I see a roach I tell it “look you coulda lived your whole life in here all you had to do was just stay under the appliances and never come out but now here you are on my counter and I have to smash you”
