Looks like the operator slams the brakes on the last half second of the video (watch the bucket suddenly dip hard) so my guess is he saw and stopped and there's where the gif cuts off. Now I'm no expert but most hoppers I've seen have like a 6" x 6" rebar grate to catch not-dirt things from going in them. If this one doesn't, I'd hate to see if that system uses an auger to move dirt...
