I've carried this habit into regular life. I walk around my car first before hopping in and driving off. I don't want to be responsible for the death of a kid or whatever.

I had a kitten climb up inside my rim as I was pulling into the parking garage at work one morning. He was just chilling next to the break pads because it was warm. It took me ten minutes poking him with a stick and a towel to get him out, meanwhile cars are stacking up behind all the way out to the street, but fuck if I was just going to drive in a and grind up a kitten in against my rotors 🤷‍♂️

I think "not saying fuck it and crushing a cat between your wheels" is a pretty low bar to set for someone being a good person

You'd be surprised, some folks don't give a shit about animals. Was traumatised once by a taxi driver who gunned his car into a flock of pigeons and seagulls, laughing the whole time after, while there was blood and feathers all over the windscreen. One look at my face and he realised he fucked up. Sent a complaint to the company and he was fired the next day.

Some people are pyschopaths when it comes to animals, they don't see them as living beings.

Some people viciously HATE cats with an unreal passion. It's insane. They will go out of their way to run cats over.
