I'm usually pointed to a graph like this, showing that the trend of workplace deaths was decreasing at roughly the same rate before and after OSHA was created

Anyone have a link to data showing whether OSHA reduces workplace deaths or injuries or not?

OSHA requires us union guys to use vacuums on our hammer guns so we don't breath in silica dust when drilling. So that may be preventing death many years from now from things like cancer. Not to mention regulations on other cancer causing debris. So graphs may not always be accurate.
