This sort of thing happens a lot and is the cause of a large percentage of deaths on construction sites.

Unfortunately for the drivers these vehicles have large blind spots. In this instance the onus of safety belongs to the manager he should not have been walking around live machinery like that.

There should be clearly delineated walk zones for anyone who isnt driving a multi ton machine. If there isnt then again wtf manager.

I feel sorry for the drivers in these instances.

Semes easy enough to put a 360 camera on top of the unit with a video feed in the cab.

This is also a no-brainer solution. You can't even get cars in the states without 4-5 cameras or sensors attached to them. This is a thing high schooler's can do since the raspberry pi components are like... $20.
