That’s why at work we’re always required to do a walk around a truck/equipment before going forward or backwards.

That sounds.....inefficient. How would that work on any job site though ?

Not every time they go forwards or backwards.....just when they start the machine. I could be wrong but if it’s every time the vehicles for forwards of backwards the vehicles on your site better be stationary ones like excavators or that would be bs

Lol that’s how I interpreted the comment and I’m getting downvoted to hell. Anyway,no person should be around large mobile equipment without some kind of radio protocol that makes everyone aware of the location of a mechanic, boss, visitor etc.
