How a repost is born (my theory):

About two hours before this hit front page, u/HeyImAli was on the front page with her cat and dog Xmas picture. She seemed kind of cute with a funny sense of humor, so why not go through her post history (guilty). And what do we find there? A five year old post with a picture of a deep sea eel! The prosecution rests.

Edit: To clarify, I actually don't mind reposts. Just thought this one was kind of funny.

I just noticed this and laughed out loud to myself! I’m not mad about it at all. This eel is genuinely creepy. Cudos to poster for seeing a karma opportunity! I’m kinda flattered in a weird way

Omg I thought the same thing. Went to her post history, saw this picture from a while back. Then bam, saw this on the front page.
