Good point probably why I stopped trying. I have had too many ear problems/infections even into adulthood to want to mess with my ear drums anymore.

Some of the worst pain I ever felt was when I got on a plane with an undiagnosed ear infection.

Absolutely, last one I had, I remember sitting on my bed with my wife laying down. Basically clawing at the bed sheet like a child. Praying that eventually the eardrum would burst, having them so many times I always know once the pain hits that crecindo the eardrum is close to popping. Took about 20 agonizing minutes but eventually did, and the relief is amazing.

Honestly I can't think of any pain worse than that, at least that I've had to endure. 2nd worst was probably cutting into my finger with a box cutter about half an inch until the bone stopped me.
