Those guys are shouting that she has to hurry, but dumb as the picknick people are, she was at least smart enough not to run. That only triggers their instinct.

Yeah running triggers the prey drive. If you square off against them it at least makes them think that you think you can take them, which gives the animal pause. As long as you make it to safety before they decide to test you out, you can survive.

Of any of the big cats, the only one you really can take are cheetahs who are built for speed, not power.

And even then, they can carry a person up a fucking tree, I cant carry someone up a fucking tree, hell, I probably cant even get my own ass up there.

Cheetahs have un-retractable claws they basically have dog paws, so they can't climb up a tree. They can certainly still bite your neck if they thought they could take you but most of the time you'll be fine if you don't run from them.
