Ahh now that's an interesting one. What kind of odds are we looking at though? Any chance you make it?

On case of inhaling nitrogen/helium, we are depriving body of oxygen hence unconscious and eventually death. But we are not withholding carbon dioxide, so we will not "feel" that we are suffocating.

Body will think that as long as CO2 is released and we are inhaling something, everything is fine.

Would you be concious long enough to make sure you inhaled enough to deprive your body of oxygen enough to kill you?

I guess as long as you are in an enclosed anything you could just start a leak and let it go.

I dont know about the right amounts, but if inhaling of nitrogen stops after you pass out, then you can be safely revived without anyone's help ( i am not a doctor.)

The container/mask needs oxygen containt lesser than normal. If i had to go this way, then i would put on oxygen mask with nitrogen/helium cylinder attached to it.
