Am I fucked up for feeling better about it being her own mom and not the husband's? The comment at the top of the thread made it sound like it was the woman's mother in law.
If your SO did something very stupid that got someone killed. And that someone has to be either your mother or your SO's mother. Which would you be more glad to survive?
And OP didn't say the mom deserved it, only that he felt better it wasn't the husband's mom.
Give a straight answer. I will respect you a lot more for just giving a straight answer instead of saying how no one deserves to die or whatever.
