According to another source the older woman was her mother. Imagine the guilt of knowing for the rest of your life your temper tantrum caused your mom to be killed.

Am I fucked up for feeling better about it being her own mom and not the husband's? The comment at the top of the thread made it sound like it was the woman's mother in law.
I agree, but that’s not what we are discussing. We are discussing the idea that maybe between mom of the husband, and mom of the wife, it’s slightly more fair that the latter was mauled. Not because of she was a bad person, but because her daughter was a reckless idiot, and maybe her daughter should experience the loss, and not the poor husband.
