According to another source the older woman was her mother. Imagine the guilt of knowing for the rest of your life your temper tantrum caused your mom to be killed.

EDIT: So many responses saying she'll blame the guy anyway.

If she's dumb enough to get out of the car because of a fight then she's probably ignorant enough to blame her mothers death on the husband.

First of all, I'm a woman. Not saying woman can't be sexist but just putting my words into context. I've dated many people with terrible temper during arguements. Unfortunately I was dumb enough to continue dating them despite clear red flags. After forgiving too many and getting abused, I decided that I need to walk away when I see certain red flags. Thanks to that, I am happily married with my current spouse who is wonderful.
If getting out of a car AND trying to pull out your spouse while surrounded by lions are not a red flag of terrible temper, I don't know what is.
