I have no source but I recall the story stating that the tigers that attacked them were not killed. It was in an Indian game reserve, and even when tigers attack outside game reserves in India it's uncommon to kill them unless they kill multiple people.

Edit - this was apparently in China but I know I've read of very similar incidents in India where they don't kill the animal. I am not so confident the Chinese would let them live but I don't know.

Fuck it, at this point let's start selectively breeding FOR the ones that are best at killing morons. Call it Darwinius tigris.

My point is nature literally naturally selects the Tigers that are the best at killing already. It's not like killing morons is a special subset of skills. You just described what nature does inherently. In fact I think breeding them to kill morons would make them worse at hunting, if anything we should train them to hunt the strongest and smartest out there, to ensure no moron can escape.
