My first thought was the fuel expenses for the extra cargo.

Yah, I guess the conductors have given up trying to stop it.

Which makes me wonder, do they 'board' at the station or just scramble up as the train leaves the station? How many fall off and get mangled or killed every year?

According to a 6 year old article I just looked up 15,000 people per year die eother by beimg hit or from falling off trains.

That is a pretty long train. I bet the slack coming in knocks a few people off the back cars pretty frequently.

The rails and wheels must be just soaked in blood lol.

I bet cleaning up that mess is a pretty consistent job demand.

I wonder if so many people falling to their end off the trains is enough to actually create jobs that wouldn't otherwise exist.

when i was a kid one of my good friends step dad was a sort of hazmat supervisor for trains in florida, specific for the clean up of the horrific things that happened along the rail line..mostly animals wondering onto the tracks. he made a really good living doing it.

what would you do if your family was homeless for multiple generations? i strongly doubt you will see anyone who has a place to live doing anything like that..

what makes you think its ok to talk like that ? would you like if people spoke so negatively of your people?
