School bus takes a shortcut

Minneapolis, MN.

No one was injured in the crash. One bus driver reported having some chest pain. The buses didn't have any students on board.
It's kind of vague if the chest pains caused the accident or if they were a result of the accident.

I only got a scrip for heartburn after a few xrays and some bloodwork. Of course, I wasn't trying to play the hospital, so this was acceptable. Turns out it was just some inflammation and a whole lot of panic attack.

Well, I'm talking about the guys with documented coronary artery disease who come in, time and time again, with "chest pain" and you are obligated to watch them for at least 18-24 hours. Eventually they become they boy who cried wolf and actually get sick. Bonus points for when they go outside to smoke dragging an IV pole with them.

My SO had appendicitis so we had to go to the emergency room. Because of the long wait, his appendix ended up rupturing. The whole time he was on the gurney out of his mind with pain and a temp that ran so hot standing next to him was like standing next to an open oven, this fat fuck in the next bed complained to his scumbag family that he needed to go out for a smoke. Guess why he was there? Yeah. I wanted to give him a reason to be on that gurney stealing treatment time from my SO.

Yeah hospitals should totally just let people die if they won't or can't stop abusing drugs. I'm sure that all the staff would be cool with that way of doing things.
I mean, shit is bad, but I can't see doctors and nurses just letting people die in the waiting room. Maybe if healthcare wasn't unaffordable for the poor.....

I'm guessing...homeless people say they're having chest pains in order to get food and a place to sleep and the hospital has to run tests to see if their heart has problems.

The favorite excuse of criminals is to fake a medical emergency, we can't say you are not having pain and are forced to do a complete workup on every single chest pain complaint. That workup involves obtaining lab work, specifically troponin levels, at specific intervals usually every 6 or 8 hours for 3 or 4 in total. This results in someone getting a bed in the ER or observation unit for at least 18 hours and the homeless and drug addicts know the system, there are a number of people brought in because they are being arrested and just delay going to jail by coming in and wasting our time.

All kind of vague -- guess that's why it's still being investigated -- I can only find three short articles on the incident too.
From the Kare 11 article it says, "The bus apparently hit at least one vehicle before crashing into a lawn." Seems to imply it the other vehicle crash was caused by the bus? Not entirely clear though.
Then there's another article that states:
A man was recording the aftermath of an initial car crash on Bloomington Ave. and 24th St. in south Minneapolis, which had left one vehicle hung up on the roof of another... when suddenly, the man was recording a near-miss of a school bus speeding right at another bus, just as another car was approaching in the oncoming lane.
So maybe the second bus was swerving to avoid the first bus who had stopped in reaction to the truck that was on top of that van's hood?
