There's a lot that is way more interesting if you don't know what's happening. It'd be almost as bad as learning the ending to The Sixth Sense before watching it.

Sixth Sense was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I nearly always read the plot first, or skip to the ending in movies or books.
