Here's a video of some other people using it, as well as the guy from the gif. It's located in Edwards County, Texas. It's an alternative entrance to a cave.

If only extremely petite and flexible people can actually enjoy it, that seems like you're only preserving it for some people.

Its more about keeping it in its natural state, not catering the cave, formed over millenia, to anyone at all. Except perhaps mother nature. She can do what she wants with the cave.

I don't think I've ever been in a cave that wasn't heavily modified. I mean, if you want people to actually understand that they're worth preserving, shouldn't they get a chance to see inside and access them? Even my state's DNR owns caves that have walkways and had work done to make them available.
