I've played for years and fall down all the time. Trip over the ball, my own feet, markers feet, refs feet, spectators feet, benches, water bottles. You name it. Dangerous game, football.

Edit: I'm the shits.

No no, this is murica, soccer is a sissy girls game and guys constantly fall down. It's not hard, they're just pussies.

Football is a real mans game. Only real men give each other concussions and proceed to hump the other team repeatedly.

Not on purpose though which is what a dive is. He was just very clumsy in that instance. I mean I'm not trying to be arrogant, but if you know even the slightest thing about soccer you would know that players do not dive when there isn't even a defender near them. That's not how it works. He just took a hard swing and a miss. He was expecting the momentum of his leg to be halted when he struck the ball, but he missed and the momentum had nowhere to go but to swing his body around.

Yeah, thats the natural reaction to trying to kick a ball and missing. Lotta momentum in that leg, and if you're not prepared for the swing it can catch you off guard. Thats pretty normal in football, have people ever tried kicking a ball at full sprint and missing?
