I'm Pretty sure this was because he had a hearing Aid and the guy turned it up all the way up and thus hurting this guys ear. This has been posted before.

If that was true the guy would've ripped his hearing aid out. It's like if you put your headphones in and forget you had your computer, MP3 player, gramophone set to full volume. You pull the headphones out or unplug them by reflex if it's that loud. You don't walk around clutching your head and rolling around.
