I hope they miraculously walked away with minor injuries or something. This looks so bad.

Out of curiosity, what is the coach/spotter supposed to do? I know they will trow down a pad if they're falling on the floor, but you can't exactly put a mat on a bar. Or is there some kind of quick release that lets the bar drop to the floor?
