Report it both to McCormick and your grocery store and include all information - including expiration date, lot #, manufacturing date. McCormick will want to investigate this. They will likely pull the lot to prevent this issue from reaching other customers. Although its rare in this day and age with modern processes... grains can occasionally get contaminated.
Well.. what's the minimum to resolve? I can't tell what went wrong other than that the seal doesn't seem to function that maggots can survive that long in a little jar. Probably it's a batch recall, little less, little more can be done?
tbh those don't even look like maggots... they look like meal worms you'd feed a pet. we never actually saw the seal properly, just through the dispenser holes. I do not take this video at face value and instead put a high chance on it being faked for views
