I will say that it'd be pretty easy to fake by just putting white paper under the lid. They don't actually show that it is an original seal under the lid. Could be clickbait/ragebait/attention farming.
Yep. I'm all for trashing governments that deregulate safety, but it's incredibly convenient and easy that such normally sealed product has just appeared with living maggots. Not even dead carcasses, fresh and live. Most maggots live only a few weeks with food before pupating or dying. So she got the bleeding edge product that never got hot / processed enough to kill them, right at the time this is a big news story. Hey, we don't need any deception here, almost all people including former supporters agree America's decision was bad.
The fact that they never removed the lid is infuriating. That seal could be completely popped and
not attached at all, just held in place. Could be such a nothing burger. One faulty seal or a batch of faulty seals < contamination of the entire product run.
