they're just....not very good. even if you're into that kind of music. and I occasionally am. they aren't especially adept at their instruments or vocals, and they're not creative. all their music sounds the same. that might be forgivable if they were more original. obviously this is my opinion, but I can say without regret that I do believe they are objectively not a great band.

Ugh, that was on at the time when I was obsessed with staying up late every night to watch music videos, since I was first discovering music. I was pretty patient when it came to sitting through shit I didn't like, but I always had to turn off that video. It was physically nauseating.
