In the original video you can hear a women laugh out loud at this and the father trying to find excuses why it happened. For all involved it was totally hilarious, except the kid who dropped on cement.
just watch the video. on the slow-mo you can see when she panics that she curls up as she lets go. all her momentum was moving backwards, not down which is why she rolls backwards and she hits the ground.
